Crew dominates Midwest regionals, punches 10 tickets to Nationals!

5/15/16 – Zanesville, OH

Skyline Crew’s hard work paid off this weekend winning 9 Championships and taking 3 more silvers and a bronze. The women’s varsity had a program best finish, winning 7 championships, a 100% success rate of events entered, a very rare feat. Highlights included; MSU bound Sophia Klein winning the women’s varsity single. Ronnie Cantrell and Jesse Evers winning the varsity double. Our women’s junior quad of Andi Krawcke, Julia Showich, Mira Simonton-Chao and Grace Krueger took gold by 0.6s.

Skyline took the 3rd place out of 50 teams on the overall points championships, only behind much larger schools and teams. Finishing ahead of local rivals, Pioneer and Huron added to a phenomenal weekend of racing. Next stop, is US Nationals over the memorial day weekend.
