Kate Burns takes 5th at World Championships

Kate Burns had a late call up to the U19 US National Team that raced in Rotterdam, Netherlands this past week. She had excelled earlier in the summer at the CanAmMex regatta helping the US and her team mates claim two gold. Her m call up to the Worlds team to help bolster the U19 Women’s Eight was well earned. She did not disappoint, helping the USA claim 5th in the World, a significant achievement for a young athlete, who still has another year of high school to go.
